International Trade

Abstract White Waves

We advise clients on legal and regulatory frameworks governing cross-border trade and investment. As companies expand their global operations, they must navigate an increasingly complex landscape of customs regulations, trade controls, sanctions regimes and international commercial rules. We therefore assist our clients in identifying and mitigating these risks while strategically structuring their international business activities to ensure long-term resilience and compliance.

Our Team has particular strength in trade defence instruments, including anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and safeguard investigations, where we represent both complainants (domestic industries) and exporters / importers across multiple jurisdictions, including the EU, Türkiye and the UK. We provide end-to-end support throughout the lifecycle of trade defence proceedings, including feasibility assessments, complaint drafting, questionnaire responses, verification processes, hearings and post-investigation reviews. We also advise on anti-circumvention matters, interim and expiry reviews, as well as strategic coordination of multi-jurisdictional trade actions.

In addition, we assist clients in navigating EU trade surveillance mechanisms, tariff quota regimes and quota allocations, including strategic advice on quota access, utilization, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. The Team also provides comprehensive counsel on matters arising under international trade agreements and investment protection frameworks, including the rules of the WTO, FTAs and BITs (Bilateral Investment Treaties).
